Another terrifying thriller

Again, this is the second kindle book that I picked up that said on the cover that it was the most terrifying thriller since 'Silence of the Lambs', the first being 'Messiah' by Boris Starling which totally lived up to that statement. Well, so does 'Fatal Instinct'! This is one of a series about FBI profiler Jessica Coran who recently captured the serial killer Matisak, who is very much like Hannibal the Cannibal. In this kindle book, Jessica is after 'The Claw' running rampant in NYC, a sort of modern day Jack the Ripper. As in "Silence", Matisak is not one to be content on the sidelines, and finds ways to insinute his 'help' to Jessica. As the kindle book reaches its shocking conclusion, you will be looking for the next kindle book in the series!

Reading for fun

This was the first of Walkers kindle books that i had read and as soon as i started i couldent put it down. It was like a trap with no way to escape. It was thrilling and intense with explicit details on surroundings and methods of The Claw. If you are a first timer to Robert W. Walker than I suggest you read this one first.

Not for the squeamish...

This is the second novel in the Instinct series, and it does not disappoint. Walker manages to build suspense and, through his vivid descriptions, lets readers get a real sense of what the killer is thinking during the murders. The ending wraps things up well.
